Moya Systems began in Berlin, in the gap between a mechatronics lecture hall and a laptop full of automation experiments. Its founder — a Mechatronics Engineering student — spent years building embedded systems, robots and IoT devices where a failure is physical and obvious. That discipline turned out to be exactly what AI projects were missing.

While companies around him were experimenting with chatbots, he was asking a different question: what would it take for an AI system to be trusted with real operational work, every day, without supervision? The answer looked a lot like engineering — clear requirements, tight feedback loops, observability and honest limits.

Moya carries an African sense of resourcefulness: building things that work with what is available, and making them count. Paired with German engineering rigour, it produces automation that small and medium European businesses can genuinely rely on.
